Hi, I'm Tony and I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (CA #145793), Chicano relational psychotherapist, sociocultural critic, former professor, husband, stepfather, son, and brother. My work centers on bringing compassion, understanding and moral depth to our relationships, friendships, communities, and ourselves. I care deeply about treating you fairly, honestly, and with the respect you’ve deserved all along. I’m all about wisdom-building.

My office is a place where people finally feel like they can just exhale and feel clearer. Together we can explore life and heal to a new place of trust, openness, and ease. I’m all about forgiveness and insight. I combine a wide range of impactful psychosocial and somatic approaches to support your freedom, safety, and boundless growth. I do this by bringing care, integrity, and truly radical compassion to my practice.

The first session with me is easy-going. Maybe you’re just curious. Maybe you’re struggling. Maybe you’re lost. Or maybe you’re passing through an especially difficult time. In my space, it’s safe if life feels confusing or hard, whether you're facing a breakdown or just a rough patch. Our session 1 really just starts a journey together to a new place of steadiness, discovery, and hope.

I enjoy cooking for my daughters (even when they think it’s too healthy or gross), playing complex board games like Betrayal at House on the Hill, hiking in nature, bicycling, and catching up on my long, long backlog of Playstation games.
